The European Landowners Organization (ELO), based in Brussels, represents the interests of private landowners and land managers. As such, it is actively involved in agriculture and environment policies, among others, organizes events linked to these core areas, and participates in EU-funded projects to be at the forefront of rural and agricultural research. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a m/f Communication Project Officer to handle communication for some of our key projects.
In these projects, ELO is tasked with leading on communication, dissemination, and exploitation tasks, as well as other project-related tasks. This includes mainly online forms of communication (website, social media, etc.) but also physical forms (distribution of leaflets, presentations, etc.), which involve combining the understanding of scientific research with communication skills (targeted writing, basic graphic design, etc.).
The Communication Project Officer works as part of the project team(s), ensuring that the tasks of the projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Depending on experience, the contract may start immediately or follow an internship period.
