Your Main Responsibilities:

• Utilizing cloud infrastructure, create dynamic dashboards for traders and other Plotly/Dash stakeholders based on real-time data
• Establish guidelines for dashboard sharing, tool development, and workflows
• Data analysis, backtesting, and the creation of intraday trading models and strategies in collaboration with the intraday trading desk
• Supporting the usage of different features of our digital intraday trading platform by trading desks, particularly the data access and automated trading framework.
• Helping to enhance methods, techniques, and processes for valuing assets for flexible and renewable power generation
• Discover innovative techniques and technology (AI, ML) to improve trading performance

Your Profile:

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Maths, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong team player, communicative and proactive personality with a commercial mindset
• Preferably track record in a similar position in the energy trading environment
• Motivated to develop a deeper fundamental knowledge of intraday power markets
• Capability to translate analytical thinking and intellectual knowledge into business outcomes
• Proficient in English, German/French highly beneficial
• Swiss or EU passport required

Your Technical Skills:

• Excellent Python programming and data visualization skills
• Knowledge Software development standards such as Git Source Control
• Understanding of data bases language (SQL) and common webservices (API, GraphQL)
• Front end GUI development skills, strong visualization capabilities
• Strong experience designing interactive, real-time dashboards using the Plotly/Dash
• Excellent skills in data science and python programming required
• Experience in application of AI/ML tools/libraries
• Curiosity about Data Science technologies is a plus (Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark)
• Decent understanding of databases, data models and web services
