The successful candidate will join as WSM Originator in an international environment, focused on electricity and gas trading, energy production in thermal and renewable installations and risk management solutions for customers and producers.

Your responsibilities:

• Foster the WSM relationship network in Spain and Portugal developing new trading opportunities and supply/origination sources.
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with WSM counterparties.
• Take responsibility for entering into negotiation with WSM counterparties, term sheet proposals and transactions negotiation in coordination with the stakeholders involved (SEM, Credit Risk, Treasury, Legal and Compliance).
• Prospecting, negotiate and execute selling and buying WSM transactions in Power and Gas with WSM counterparties. Leading the front commercial sales working closely with the internal stakeholders. (SEM, Credit Risk, Treasury and Legal).
• Design of new products and services to offer in the WSM business.
• Control, monitoring and reporting of the performance corresponding to the existing portfolio of counterparties and transactions made in the WSM business.
• Monitoring market trends to capitalize on trading opportunities.
• Keep track of the regulatory changes with impact in the WSM business.
• Participate in international WS at Alpiq Group level, as well as in internal projects related to WSM business.

Your profile:

• At least 3 years' experience in the tasks described.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spanish electricity market, the derivatives market, as well as experience in origination/trading.
• High level of English.
• Excellent social skills, negotiation skills, resolution, results orientation, proactivity and teamwork mentality.
