Marketing Manager, Energy Transition

World Kinect Energy Services

Brinkworth, Staines, London or Remote, United Kingdom

Overview

A newly-created role, the Marketing Lead will take responsibility for all marketing output and activity in support of our growing UK Land Energy Transition business.

The successful candidate will help to launch, promote and market a range of solutions that will help our existing and new Watson Fuels customers to progress their decarbonisation journeys. These new solutions are likely to include – but not be limited to – Electric Vehicle Charge Points, Air Source Heat Pumps, and Solar and Battery technologies.

Based in the UK, and working within our global Land Marketing Team, the Marketing Lead will work cross-functionally across our matrixed teams, with dotted lines to relevant commercial leads and product owners. The role will be working across both B2C and B2B markets, and supporting our existing sales and marketing teams for each.

What we’re looking for

At World Kinect, our marketing activity has a sharp commercial edge – we’re focussed on driving organic growth through generating new business, retaining profitable customers and cross-selling to exiting accounts.

We’re seeking a talented and experienced generalist, strategic marketer, who’s comfortable working both top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel: not only to educate, build brand and generate leads through marketing campaigns and initiatives, but also working closely with sales colleagues to nurture and manage these opportunities through to close, measuring returns at every stage.

You’ll be an advocate of the solution selling methodology, and able to understand and articulate how our product and service offering solves key customer pain points.

You’ll also have a keen interest in (and understanding of) the energy transition, with a passion for helping our customers to reduce their carbon footprints through pragmatic, relevant and real-world solutions.
