THE ROLE:
This new position aims to develop the Finance sector for Quantis through the sale and delivery of transformation projects targeted at financial players.
Consequently, this role is a blend of business development, account management, relationship building and strategy creation & delivery, aiming to support our existing and future clients in their sustainability journey.
Based in Paris and reporting to the Global Leader & Managing Director, you will:
- Build and develop Quantis’ Sustainable Finance sector agenda, starting in France and expanding to other branches, and prioritise, define, launch and supervise the implementation of strategic sector initiatives;
- Develop and nurture client relationships at the C-Suite level together with BCG to set up successful client relationship strategies to align our clients’ organizations with planetary boundaries;
- Manage and grow multiple key clients, acquire new clients and strive to make Quantis their preferred partner for their sustainability transformation;
- Be a member of the Quantis leadership team.
You will be successful in your role if you:
- Identify prospects and pitch our offer, either as stand-alone Quantis or together with BCG teams;
- Achieve branch sales target that you will co-define with the Managing Directors of the branches, and deliver with the local Finance leaders, that you will animate;
- Can anticipate your clients’ needs by building a strong network at the client thanks to your relationship skills and your credibility as a leading-edge sustainability transformation professional;
- Can leverage Quantis expertise and ecosystem to deliver the needed client transformation towards operating within planetary boundaries and co-create transformative client vision of sustainable business;
- Can ensure successful and efficient delivery of the sold projects by managing projects and collaborating efficiently with project team members.

- You have a successful track record in sales and building strategies for clients, business development primarily focusing on growing key accounts and executing sales initiatives to bring on new clients;
- For 15+ years, you’ve been working in the strategy consulting space and/or finance industry with significant exposure to and interest in Sustainable Finance;
- You have a strong knowledge of the principles, actors, roles, instruments and issues within the Finance sector and a significant network;
- You have a consultative and solutions-oriented approach when working with clients;
- You’re strong in peer leadership, able to empower and motivate teams without direct authority;
- You’re empathetic and have strong listening skills;
- You’re a team player that enables others to be successful at finding solutions using their expertise by providing clear guidance, support, and direction;
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit to be part of a team finding new solutions using your expertise;
- You communicate effectively and efficiently in fluent English (verbally and in writing). French would be a big plus.
AS A GLOBAL SECTOR LEAD, HERE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sector lead responsibilities:
- Define the long-term vision for the Finance sector, backed up by a yearly strategy, action plan, budget and KPIs, and execute the strategy, action plans and track progress;
- Define with the Managing Directors of the branches the strategy and sales objectives for the sector in alignment with the specificities of the markets;
- Define services positioning and pricing, and develop new service opportunities to accelerate business transformation and answer new needs;
- Capture client needs in the Finance sector and plan Quantis’ approach to address them;
- Manage the sector sales pipeline and revenue, deliver on time with the level of resources sold;
- Develop and update the mid to long term key client development plans;
- Network significantly within BCG and partner with BCG colleagues to ensure joint revenue.
Client relationship and business development responsibilities:
- Understand and proactively address sustainability opportunities through the client lens of competitive advantage, risk & opportunities with C-Suite level client stakeholders;
- Create opportunities for Quantis and BCG to work on joint projects of sustainable business transformation, leveraging BCG’s network in the sector;
- Support your clients in building the case for transformation and unlocking major budget for transformation development and execution;
- Lead the co-innovation of entirely new transformative proposals.
Client consulting sustainability strategy responsibilities:
- Ensure the ambition and coherence of the pricing strategy for the client;
- Advise the project teams in executing projects at high quality to meet the objectives;
- Be accountable for the quality of deliverables of projects for the clients;
- Develop the client transformation sustainability strategy and review the course of transformation with the Quantis team and the clients;
- Collaborate with Strategists and Project Managers in project delivery by bringing expertise and seniority when and where needed.
Marketing, external positioning and knowledge management:
- In collaboration with Marketing & Communications, develop and execute plans for marketing in the sector, creating materials as needed (templates, case studies, etc.);
- Be the “external face of Quantis” in the sector (e.g., conference talks, webinars, articles, etc.);
- Lead the development of knowledge assets, templates, tools, guidelines, processes or other supporting materials to support efficient delivery of quality services;
- Establish and communicate best practices, training and resource needs in the sector through Lessons Learned on finished projects and business development;
- Discuss market trends, best practices and positioning with other sectors.
