Your Impact:

We are currently delivering numerous renewables sector projects, including wind energy in the UK for leading developers. Our team specialises in nationally significant projects across the UK and Europe, providing technical expertise in all areas of environmental assessment and consenting for energy sector clients such as National Grid, National Gas, Eirgrid and RWE. To support continued success and growth we are keen to hear from candidates with strong EIA experience in this sector.

You will join a vibrant and friendly environmental team, with opportunities to deliver renewables sector projects as well as expand your experience across a range of sectors including energy, water, sustainability and transport. As an Environmental Consultant at Jacobs you will have the opportunity to influence environmental outcomes for some of the most exciting major projects in Ireland, the UK and further afield.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • ​​​​​​​A degree in a relevant discipline;
  • Experience in delivering environmental assessment and coordination for infrastructure development;
  • Experience in client facing roles, and in working closely with client bodies and engaging in proactive consultation with key stakeholders;
  • Strong leadership, project management and governance experience, with demonstrable commitment to health, safety and security and inclusivity, the integration of project legacy into decision making, and champion of innovative thinking to improve project and legacy outcomes;
  • Preferably, chartered status and Full Membership of a recognised relevant professional body (e.g. IEMA, CIWEM, IES). Where you do not meet this requirement, you will be supported to achieve this within your first year with us.
