Group Biofuel System Trader (MOL Focus)

In this role you will coordinate biofuel supply planning procedures and related activities, projects and processes in line with MOL’s strategy and interest. Be responsible for internal information flow and communication with MOL Group and commercial subsidiaries related to biofuels, supports regulatory, compliance and planning issues solving in line with MOL’s interest and relevant biofuel regulations (EU and national).

Main tasks:

  • Managing all tasks and responsibilities in full compliance with ISCC policy, regulations and standards applied in MOL Plc;
  • Coordinates organization units dealing with biofuel issues, which means mainly operational and planning (short and long-term) topics with focus on biofuels compliance optimization in line with MOL Group’s biofuel needs and strategy;
  • Contributes to planning process (biofuel demand, optimization, fuel grade portfolio). Supports and contributes to preparation of long-term biofuel compliance strategy – biofuel demand, blending projection, compliance scenarios;
  • Tracks biofuel supply and blending concerning domestic and main export markets. Monitors legal compliance, proposes efficiency improvement measures related to them. Collects, analyses and shares regulation-related information to commercial subsidiaries and to corporate affairs;
  • Responsible for transfer of information related to biofuels (internal and external), prepares materials and organizes meetings with all stakeholders to provide and discuss important information (EU regulation, Bio strategy, projects, planning issues);
  • Structures asset/market business opportunities to DS Fuels and Value Chain Management business units. Channels commercial/trading opportunities and requests to asset/market and is involved in implementation;
  • Coordinates, initiates (and in given case takes the lead in) projects related to biofuel issues;
  • Takes the lead in meeting the targets of transport compliance with special focus on UER management including its demand, commercial negotiations and allocation among countries. Participates in negotiations with external Partners having interest in purchasing UER from MOL Plc;
  • Participates in planning and execution as well as commercial negotiation process with Partners supplying feedstock for co-processing in MOL Group refineries;
  • Complying with the Regulation of Work protection and the Regulation of General Fire protection as well as all other work related or HSE relevant regulations concerning his activity. Carrying out tasks and control actions covered/ruled by the above mentioned regulations.

Requirements:

  • MSc university degree in Engineering/Economics;
  • 5-7 years of experience preferably in Commercial or Trading (System trading, Operations, Production, Scheduling);
  • Knowledge of MS office, PIMS, ORION;
  • English intermediate;
  • Communication, interpersonal, numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
