Duties & Responsibilities

  • Role will be expected to develop a global sale, bid and marketing group on behalf of MENCK;
  • Expected to have a strong global sales profile with excellent customer interface capabilities;
  • Responsible for external Sales team, supporting the internal bid team, contracts team and marketing efforts towards segment sales leadership;
  • Responsible for commercial management within the MENCK Group business;
  • Development of new sales strategies aimed at new customer acquisition;
  • Expected to lead global pipeline management including implementation of a global CRM system for the company;
  • Supporting Sales Manager while contract negotiations of Selling Projects;
  • Supporting the development of Marketing strategy towards all MENCK customers and potential customers;
  • Supporting the coordination of all PR Activities;
  • Contribute and coordinating presenting MENCK at Conferences and Exhibitions.

Required

  • Educated to degree level in economic studies and/or engineering or similar;
  • At least 5 years work experience in Sales within subsea service sector, preferably strong position within the offshore renewables industry i.e.,. offshore wind and/or oil & gas developments;
  • Expertise in strategical planning and achieving targets;
  • Very good skills in presentation, negotiation, and tenders;
  • Commercial knowledge of key drivers of operational risk allocation towards profit and turnover;
  • Excellent leadership skills;
  • Excellent Communication skills;
  • Strong analytical capabilities associated with methodology know how;
  • Willingness to travel global as required by the business;
  • Proficiency or Native Speaker in English and German.
