The Head of Sustainability is responsible for driving and coordinating Bolt’s Sustainability initiatives and contributing to the company’s strategies and goals. The overall purpose is to achieve tangible business values by focusing on relevant Sustainability initiatives, mitigate environmental footprints and risks, create actual impact and an enhanced brand value.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Develop Bolt’s Sustainability strategy in collaboration with the CEO, Management team and our employees. Make sure our Sustainability initiatives, long and short goals & metrics are integrated into Bolt’s overall business strategies, roadmaps and decision making processes;
  • Advocate Bolt vision of sustainable cities and shared mobility in relation to cities’ sustainability and mobility goals, governments and third party stakeholders;
  • Plan our annual multi-million euro sustainability budget, choose cost efficient projects and establish partnerships in line with the Bolt's direction to create actual impact;
  • Serve as the subject matter expert of Sustainability as our spokesperson, but also engaging, informing and educating internal stakeholders and employees;
  • Monitor existing and emerging Sustainability trends, build contacts with relevant Sustainability networks, events, stakeholders and experts;
  • Own sustainability-related policy issues impacting Bolt, identifying strategic opportunities and forming policy proposals/positions when appropriate. Provide guidance on the company responses to external inquiries, questions or statements on Sustainability and climate related matters;
  • Measure progress against our strategies and goals. Manage our ISO certifications and annual Sustainability reporting for our teams, investors and other stakeholders.

We are looking for:

  • You have a graduate degree or demonstrated subject matter expertise in sustainability, climate action, urban planning, passenger transportation or electric vehicles;
  • You have 5+ years of strong project management skills with the ability to deliver results in cross-functional organization;
  • You are passionate for sustainable transport and have an ability to evangelize its benefits to cities and stakeholders;
  • You are organised. You deliver stuff on time & handle stress well;
  • You are social. You can easily network with people of all backgrounds;
  • You are willing to travel across different markets throughout Europe & Africa and relocate to Estonia.
