Social Media Manager

Love Foundation

Remote or Berlin, Germany

Duration: 6 months
Commitment: 3-4 days per week

Description:

Initially founded as a Dutch foundation in Maastricht in 2013, Love Foundation has spread globally and has local hubs in South Africa, Israel, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Local hubs, such as the one in Berlin, are individual local groups that are all joined under the pretext of a globally created manifesto that guides our work and values. Five pillars are incorporated in all Love Foundation events worldwide: Universal Love, Water For All, Community Spirit, Joyful Purpose and Shared Sustainability.

In 2019 the German association Love Foundation e.V. was founded that acts as a legal body for multiple hubs currently active across Germany: Berlin, Dresden, Magdeburg and Munich.

As an open network of artists and activists, Love Foundation organizes cultural events with the aim of spreading the language of universal love, connecting people and creating awareness about the lack of equal access to global resources as well as raising money for water development projects together with our partner Viva con Agua South Africa. Love Foundation events cover a range of formats, such as musical events, festivals, socio-political discussions, panels, art exhibitions, workshops, movie nights, sports tournaments and many more. We create a collective, cultural playground and provide individuals and collectives with the opportunities to learn and grow together. In Love Foundation, everyone who shares the same values of tolerance, awareness, acceptance, universal love and diversity is welcome to participate, contribute and organize a multiplicity of events that they wish to create.
