Responsibilities
- “Centre of Expertise” and responsibility for energy/electricity markets in UK and Ireland
- Build up an understanding and track relevant regulatory changes
- Build-up and develop relationships with external partners offering services/support on the marketing of renewables power
- Identify corporates in UK and Ireland who have implemented or are about to define a renewable procurement or ESG strategy
- Lead and steer our participation in government auctions (for example RESS, CFDs) as well as in corporate PPA tenders
- Identify and execute power purchase agreements with corporate or utility off-takers
- Collaborate with local finance and development team
Qualifications
- Relevant work experience in either UK or Ireland, in both countries would be a plus
- Understanding of UK and Irish power markets and policy background
- Existing network of corporate, utility, trader contacts in either UK or Ireland
- Track-record of successfully closed contracts (power supply, standard power, GOs, PPAs)
- Fluent in English in spoken and written, fluent in German language would be a plus
- Passionate about renewable energies and storage
- Self-driven, solution oriented and hands-on mentality
- Willing to travel to our offices
