Position

We are looking for a commercially minded leader with significant industry experience, to lead the commercialisation of Reaction Engines’ game-changing technologies, into the wide-reaching Energy sector's decarbonising markets including power generation, waste heat recovery, and industrial processes. This sector is responsible for a significant proportion of global C02 emissions, making this an opportunity to truly make significant & positive impact on the environment.

You will own the commercialisation strategy, ensuring the Energy sector activities are in line with the company’s long-term objectives and ensure business sustainability. You will also lead a team, including Business Development, to write bids, build customer relationships, and create routes to market for serial product opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful you will need:

• Significant industry experience in the Energy sector;
• Proven commercial leadership capability and experience;
• Business development experience;
• Experience in hardware product development, innovation or business start-up/new business creation;
• Experience in shaping business strategy and delivering multiple programmes in a fast paced, agile technology led business;
• Qualified to degree level in Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent;
• Passion for engineering and technology;
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills;
• Ability to think in an entrepreneurial way – seeing how we can meet customer needs.
