KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• In this position, you will lead and partner with clients in implementing Carbon related strategies and solutions including ESG & CDP reporting;
• In addition, you will drive SBT (science-based targets) and set Climate Targets for First Climate’s clients while taking a lead role on client relations, including contract management/negotiations;
• Your responsibilities will also include managing and directing various initiatives such as calculating GHG footprint for clients according to international standards and supporting the formation of targets for emission reduction and climate neutrality;
• You will lead team’s activities related to customer acquisition and support, while communicating new trends related to global sustainability and clean technology initiatives;
• You will also be responsible for providing sound consultation and guidance to clients on EU taxonomy and further develop consulting products in the areas of climate and sustainability.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate has a university degree (Master’s) in Engineering or Natural Sciences or an equivalent degree or has a related technical field with 5-7+ years of professional experience climate neutrality and in-depth knowledge of the carbon and/or renewable markets;
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in management consulting with a focus on climate, energy and sustainability;
• In addition, you have a proven track record in developing, managing and executing client solutions as well as a progressive history of building successful relationships;
• You have excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills, a strong analytical mind and the ability to present analysis confidently to clients;
• You bring strong organizational and solutions-driven skill-set with the ability to work on multiple complex projects within multiple disciplines;
• You speak fluent German & English with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Any additional language is an asset;
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office environment, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
