The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Identify and analyze the environmental impacts of energy and other types of investments;
Propose mitigation actions in case of environmental impacts;
Identify how climate change affects investments;
Identify mitigation and adaptation measures against climate change;
Keep track of the policies related to environment, climate change, as well as of Taxonomy Regulation, EU Green Deal, National Climate and Energy Plans, and the Recovery and Resilient Fund and its supporting regulations;
Technical writing for bids and proposals.
The key requirements of this role are:
Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability studies or other relevant field;
2+ years’ experience and expertise in environmental, sustainability and climate change issues;
2+ years’ experience and expertise with environmental and/or energy regulations;
Experience with Environmental Impact Assessments;
Strong research and reporting skills;
Ability to work both in English and in Greek.
