We are looking for an ESG Specialist to participate to the activities of the Institutional and Wholesale (IWD) Investment Products division which acts as the knowledge hub for all investment-related matters (markets, products, competition). This is an opportunity for you to combine your enthusiasm about the financial markets with your entrepreneurial attitude to promote our investment strategies to our investors.
About this opportunity
Welcome to the IWD Investment Products ESG team. We add value by creating impactful ESG product content for our Institutional and Wholesale Distribution division. As a Junior ESG Specialist in the Investment Products team, you coordinate and contribute to multiple ESG initiatives as well as to coordinate projects in a very dynamic, multicultural and entrepreneurial environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in handling incoming requests from clients, sales and investment specialists in a timely manner and with attention to detail.
- Support the team of investment specialists in Request for Proposals (RFP) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) on ESG related topics.
- Support on the application to product ESG Labels.
- Support with creation, improvement and maintenance of ESG marketing materials from RFPs to commercial presentations and other ESG communication materials.
- Contribute with ESG related insights for Investment Specialists.
- Coordinate various ESG-related marketing initiatives in close contact with the Responsible Investments (RI) team, the product specialist teams and other stakeholders, e.g. RI Annual report and Climate Report.
- Support and contribute to key ESG sales and client education programs.
- Contribute to new ideas to help NAM maintain its ESG brand recognition and leadership.
- Developing your knowledge on the fund industry, regulation, sustainability and fund management.
The role is based in Oeiras.

Your profile and background:
- Master’s degree in economics, finance or other relevant field (or about to graduate).
- Studies related to ESG/Sustainability are considered as a plus.
- Prior experience in a position/internship related to ESG are considered a plus.
- Very good skills in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered an asset.
