Head of Business Unit, Nature Based Solutions

FORLIANCE

Management of a team of approx. 25 people (4 direct reports and approx. 21 indirect reports);
Responsibility for annual Business Unit budget;
Delivery of Business Unit KPI and monitoring of deadlines;
Developing Emerging Opportunities and integrating them into the FORLIANCE value proposition;
Alignment with internal and external stakeholders in structuring the FORLIANCE NBS project pipeline and portfolio to meet markets’ current and future demands;
Develop and execute FORLIANCE business strategies in order to attain the goals of the company;
Participate in business strategy to improve and deliver highest quality NBS delivery and products;
Gathering intelligence about market trends, relevant regulation and policies;
Responsibility for short-, mid- and long-term Carbon Inventory management.

Extensive professional experience of several years in the areas of strategic planning, clustering processes and project management;
Profound management experience (with at least 20 employees);
Several years of experience in strategic team building;
Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in an international team;
Experience in creating business and financial plans for natural carbon projects or similar projects (e.g. renewable energy);
Strategic thinking and innovative ability;
Fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish or French, additional languages are an advantage;
Willingness to travel;
Professional experience in Latin America, Africa or South-East Asia is an advantage.
