You lead the wind turbine generator (WTG) scope within the project team;
You manage the integrated load analysis process between WTG supplier and foundations designer together with Q ENERGY’s foundation package from the owner’s perspective, mechanical and electrical interface design activities and liaise with WTG suppliers, foundation designer, certifiers, marine warranty surveyor and owners engineers;
You manage safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of the turbine supply agreement and handover to the O&M service provider;
You manage safe and cost-effective delivery of WTG transportation and installation (T&I) strategy from the WTG factory to the offshore site in collaboration with Q ENERGY’s T&I manager;
You manage delivery of electrical, SCADA and grid documentation on the WTGs from the WTG package to the other packages;
You provide support in procuring technical services for the WTG scope including technical due diligence. Prepare the scope of works for contractors or service providers including technical scope descriptions, resource requirements, budget and schedule for completion;
You review technical reports submitted by contractors, consultants or other service providers in relation to WTGs;
You manage quality surveillance during the manufacturing, storage and T&I of WTG where required;
You identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies.
You contribute to our success if
You have at least a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural or mechanical engineering, naval architecture or industrial engineering;
You are a degree qualified engineer with minimum 8 years of project experience, ideally working as a member of a WTG package team or a design and engineering consultant on windfarm projects;
You have a strong knowledge of WTG technology;
You have project management experience in offshore wind projects is a plus (pre-FEED/FEED/detailed design, construction, installation and operations support);
You have experience and knowledge of project management;
