Become our new Marketing Manager and define our marketing and branding strategy, own and implement initiatives, roll up your sleeves and shape AFS’s energy front-runner position in the sustainability and renewable energy commodities markets. You will report to the Head of Energy and primarily support AFS Energy, while also contributing to various marketing activities for AFS Group. Your work and responsibilities will target all our media channels, both online and offline. Showcase your skills in marketing, employer branding, and content creation by crafting compelling visuals and copywriting aligned with the AFS brand.

Your key responsibilities

  • Setting up a strategic marketing plan and supporting its implementation;
  • Managing our AFS Brand and nurturing a consistent image and storyline across our communication channels (web, social channels, events etc.);
  • Drive the content roadmap, connecting organizational knowledge with market and company events, and write compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience and align with our branding and communication guidelines;
  • Lead and grow the marketing team, to align efforts, streamline processes, and leverage the team's expertise in executing marketing campaigns;
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure that marketing efforts align with product strategy and development effectively communicating value propositions to the target audience;
  • Utilize data analytics and KPIs to continuously evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness, make data-driven decisions and drive SEO;
  • Be on top of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position AFS Energy as leader in the energy and environmental commodities trading markets, driving brand recognition and authority.

What you can offer us

  • At least a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the environment/environmental commodities industry;
  • Thrive both at conceptual work and detailed implementation;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English - and Dutch is a big big plus;
  • Experience in setting up and implementing (online) marketing strategies, including SEO;
  • Sufficient knowledge of web frontend, video editing and graphic design to lead and hands-on support implementation. Experience with Adobe programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro;
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can work on own initiative without close supervision.
