We are looking for a colleague who would join our Ignitis Renewables team and play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing engineering activities related to offshore projects. This position will encompass leading a team of engineers, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving the successful execution of offshore engineering projects. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

  • Together with Lead Engineering Manager develop and implement engineering strategies related to offshore wind farm projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk assessment, and quality control
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise within the engineering function with primary focus but not limited to site investigations and metocean studies
  • Provide a day-to-day leadership to a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices for offshore engineering projects
  • Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to negotiate contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.

We expect that You

  • Possess a Bachelor or higher degree in electrical, civil engineering or other related field
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in offshore engineering projects, particularly in offshore wind sector
  • Have experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Have proven experience in planning and executing site investigation and other site characterization scopes
  • Are skilled at evaluating options and finding solutions
  • Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude and ability to problem solve within a complex matrix organization.
