The selected professional will focus on supporting different X-ELIO´s decision making teams in terms of markets, regulation and pricing.
What will you do?
- Create internal energy markets price forecasts to support various business lines;
- Perform quantitative analysis of energy market data using advanced software tools;
- Monitor regulatory bodies and identify changes and opportunities that may affect the market's infrastructure;
- Develop and maintain market data, analysis, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide stability and reliability around market prices and evolution for various markets and technologies, with a focus on storage and solar investment projects;
- Use a strong understanding of energy market fundamentals to inform analysis and forecasts.
What do we need?
- In-depth understanding of energy markets fundamentals with good analysis capabilities of market information;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles;
- Good understanding of energy users requirements when purchasing energy;
- Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office;
- Knowledge in Python and/or R;
- Advanced level in both Spanish and English.
