Job Description

The objective of the role is to drive and support the technical deliverables of MET Group’s Italian solar PV (photovoltaic) projects, and provide coordination from early stage project development to construction phase and putting the assets into operation.

• Project management from the investor’s side – driving planning, licensing, construction and other technical work processes to realise the company’s renewable energy projects;
• Tendering, preparing and managing contracts related to the construction of the company’s renewable energy projects;
• Evaluating and supporting the technical side of renewable projects’ business development;
• Supporting renewable energy projects’ commercial and technical operation optimisation;
• Analysing, evaluating and preparing the company’s business development projects for contracting;
• Preparing and analysing studies and evaluations related to the industry;
• Keeping in touch with the project developers, partners, subcontractors, authorities, and grid operators and technical advisors;
• Supporting and tracking the internal approval process for projects and transactions;
• Performing other additional tasks related to the job.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of project management experience in solar PV project development and construction management in Italy;
• Deep knowledge of the renewables permitting and regulatory background in Italy is a must;
• Fluent in Italian (native) and English;
• Engineering degree;
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and project management skills.
