Our O&M Technical Portfolio Managers has responsibility to ensure that O&M requirements are included and considered in all phases of our new offshore windfarms, from early conception of the windfarm, up to we hand over to our colleagues in O&M Delivery.

In this specific role you will be assigned a role as Product Manager for floating wind. This means that you will be a focal point in preparing us for the future where we will be operating and maintaining floating wind turbines.

In the Day 1 Readiness team you will be part of a diverse team of 17 highly skilled colleagues. The core task of our team is to act as representatives for O&M and Asset Management in the projects, and ensure that new offshore windfarms are ready to operate from day one.

Your responsibilities as O&M Technical Portfolio Manager

Within the assigned workstream(s) the O&M Technical Portfolio Manager has the responsibility to be the O&M Delivery voice towards the projects in development and construction.

The portfolio responsibility includes a requirement to ensure documentation and adherence to O&M standards and requirements from early conception of new windfarms to handover to Operations. This also includes responsibility to develop the standards and requirements, in liaison with relevant stakeholders, and communicate these to the projects.

Essentially this means that the role primarily is to ensure that new projects are operable and maintainable, through activities such as:

• Create and maintain standardized O&M requirements for use in new projects.
• Provide O&M input (technical/cost) to projects in development and construction.
• Engage with O&M internal stakeholders to capture input, implement best practice and involve relevant specialists as required.
• Review or ensure revision of relevant documentation.
• Participate in design meetings, reviews and evaluations (i.e. DRAs, TDDs).
• Participate or ensure representation in quality inspections.
• Contribute to smooth handover of new asset projects to O&M Delivery.

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master degree within Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within offshore wind, preferably in an O&M capacity or specifically within the WTG area.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen including an understanding of financial models.
• Working knowledge of typically used contract terms in offshore wind. Experience with participation in negotiation of complex and high value contracts.
• Strategic mindset with capability to formulate the standards and ensure execution and compliance.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to resolve detail issues and to convey complex technical matters and life cycle costing coherently.
• Well-rounded project management capabilities, accomplished at setting targets, planning resources, quantifying risks and tracking progress.
• Good communication skills, comfortable at presenting, building relationships and influencing others, while working effectively across different cultures and geographical locations.
• A strong command of English (written and verbal) is a prerequisite for the role.
• A positive mindset with strong self-motivation and resilience, a flexible and proactive approach to tackling problems and comfortable at simultaneously manage several tasks to often challenging deadlines.
